According to Aurora Police, the woman was shot in a nearby parking lot late Saturday and drove to the business for help.
AURORA, Colo. — A woman who drove to an Aurora business and collapsed after being shot has died from her injuries, Aurora Police said in an update Monday morning,
The victim, a 33-year-old woman, drove to a liquor store located at 15500 East Colfax Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday to seek help. She collapsed inside and later died from her injuries, according to Aurora Police.
Investigators believe she was shot once while driving in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 15500 block East 12th Avenue, which is about a half mile away. Officers also discovered a bullet hole in her vehicle.
Due to her injuries, she was unable to provide any information about the circumstances of the shooting before she died. Police have not identified any suspects and no arrests have been made.
