I don’t want to buy new stuff because I feel like there’s already so many new things out there. We definitely to need repurpose the clothes that we already have,” Okuku said.That is exactly what she does, taking items she finds and repurposing them into bright and bold pieces right in her dorm room.Okuku taught herself to sew in between a full class schedule.
