UC Law San Francisco has been recognized as one of the top law schools in the country for business law, earning an A+ grade in National Jurist’s preLaw Magazine’s latest rankings.
As faculty director of the Center for Business Law and advisor for the Business Law Concentration, Professor Abraham Cable guides students toward successful careers working with companies, startups, and investors.
Only 17 law schools nationwide received the magazine’s highest mark. The rankings are based on the breadth of each school’s business law curriculum and offerings, including JD concentrations, clinics, and academic journals.
Abraham Cable, faculty director of UC Law SF’s Center for Business Law and advisor for the College’s JD Business Law Concentration, said the recognition reflects the school’s longstanding commitment to preparing students to excel in the field.
“We’ve been working hard to create a Business Law Concentration and curriculum that helps students reach their goals, whether that be advising Fortune 500 companies, guiding startups, or working as in-house counsel,” Cable said. “It is gratifying to see our faculty, curriculum, and experiential programs recognized in this way.”
