TYLER, Texas (KLTV) -Tyler’s Hispanic Business Alliance celebrates East Texas entrepreneurs.
The ceremony at the W-T Brookshire Center honored Hispanic and Latino leaders who’ve made an impact on the community this year.
Categories included Emerging Business, Small Business and Community Impact Leader.
One person recognized is the Mayor of Tyler, Don Warren.
“It doesn’t matter what color you are or ethnicity or religion…it’s all of us coming together and supporting each other and having relationships with each other,” says Warren.
As of this year, there are currently over 5 million Hispanic businesses in the United States that are contributing to more than $3.8 trillion to the U.S economy.
“An enterprenuer regardless of Hispanic or not, you are making an impact in the community and so we want to be able to guide our Hispanic and Latino indivduals so that they can continue doing that because when they make an impact in the community it trickles down,” says Nancy Rangel, the CEO and President of Hispanic Business Alliance.
