TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Two Tallahassee business owners are behind bars following a fraud investigation, according to Tallahassee police.
Miranda and Timothy Ard, listed as the owner’s of CORE Property Management on the business’s website, are both facing fraud charges and are accused of using business funds for personal expenses.
The investigation started in October 2025 after TPD got information about “financial irregularities” involving CORE’s handling of a client portfolio.
According to TPD, detectives found evidence of mixing of the client’s property portfolio funds and CORE’s operating account.
Investigators also found transactions from the company’s operating account that were personal expenses.

Some of the expenses included cruises, gambling, beauty services and entertainment, according to TPD.
Miranda and Timothy Ard were both arrested after a search of the business, located in Leon County and their home in Wakulla County.
The pair are both charged with organized scheme to defraud over $50K and grand theft.
