Time Hotels Management has announced an ambitious expansion strategy with a strong focus on the Egyptian hospitality market, aiming to manage more than 2,000 hotel rooms in Egypt within the next three years. The plan is part of the company’s broader regional and international growth drive, according to Mohamed Awadalla, CEO of Time Hotels.

Speaking to Daily News Egypt, Awadalla said the group currently manages 17 hotels with a total of 3,000 rooms across six countries: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Morocco, and the Maldives. In addition to its existing portfolio, Time Hotels has 14 new properties under development in Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Russia, Tanzania, and Mauritius.

In Saudi Arabia, the company is developing three hotels in Dammam, Al Khobar, and Riyadh, with a combined total of approximately 600 rooms. Construction of the Time Al Khobar Hotel has been completed and the opening is scheduled for early next year, while the hotels in Riyadh and Dammam are expected to open in early 2027. These will add to the company’s existing presence in the Kingdom, where it already operates two hotels in Makkah and one in Dammam.

In Egypt, Time Hotels currently manages five properties, including three in the New Administrative Capital, one in Luxor, and one on the North Coast. Awadalla revealed that the company is close to signing three to four new hotel management agreements before the end of this year. He emphasized that Egypt represents one of the most promising hospitality and tourism markets in the region due to its rapidly growing urban landscape, high population density, and strategic position as a gateway for global tourism and business.

In the United Arab Emirates, the company has a strong footprint with four hotels in Dubai, two in Sharjah, and two in Ajman, bringing its total to eight hotels across the country. Awadalla noted that the UAE remains a key base for the company while international growth continues to accelerate.

He also highlighted that Time Hotels has expanded its brand portfolio to include six distinct hotel brands, following the recent introduction of two new ones. HALO by TIME will cater to the luxury segment, while VIVI by TIME is a lifestyle-oriented brand set to launch in the Maldives in 2026.

Awadalla concluded that the company’s strategic expansion reflects a clear commitment to tapping into high-growth markets, delivering value-driven hospitality, and offering diverse experiences across different market segments.
