SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one person hurt Saturday evening.
According to deputies, the shooting was reported at 6:58 p.m. Saturday at a business near U.S. 521 and Race Track Road.
Deputies said arrived at the business in the area and found a victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Prisma Health Tuomey, and their condition in unclear at the time
SCSO confirms this is an active investigation and additional information will be released as the investigation develops.
