Meghan Markle As Ever Rep Gives Update on Global Expansion Rumors

Meghan Markle launched her lifestyle brand, As Ever, on April 2, 2025. While the brand’s products are exclusively available in the U.S., a recent report suggested that Markle is seeking global expansion and is holding meetings in Australia to expand the business there. However, a spokesperson for the brand has confirmed that these are mere “speculations,” saying there is no “decision” as of now to expand the business in Australia rather than the U.K.

There were reports that Meghan Markle’s brand, As Ever, was expanding into Australia, according to ITV. The report suggested that the entrepreneur wants to expand her business to Australia before launching the products in the U.K.

In fact, the royal couple was reported to be visiting Sydney and Melbourne for a few days to hold private and business meetings, according to their office. However, the U.S. Weekly magazine reports claim that the brand’s spokesperson has denied any such claims.

The As Ever spokesperson responded to the ITV News report, saying, “This is speculation.” They further added that there have been “no decisions” about when or where they would expand internationally. “Entering new markets is a considered process, but it’s something the brand is excited to explore as it continues to grow in this next phase,” added the spokesperson.

The news comes after Netflix recently ended its partnership with Markle’s lifestyle brand. However, sources allege that the Duchess of Sussex isn’t at all disappointed with this, as now she has “complete control” over her business. Moreover, she thought that her brand was being “held back” by the streaming platform because it was being too “cautious.”

While the partnership has ended, Markle remains on good terms with Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos. A spokesperson of the lifestyle brand said, “As Ever is grateful for Netflix’s partnership through launch and our first year. We have experienced meaningful and rapid growth, and As Ever is now ready to stand on its own. We have an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to share more.”
