Man fatally shot inside business on Lane Avenue South: JSO

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was fatally shot inside a business in the 1500 block of Lane Avenue South on Saturday, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.

JSO said a little after 3 p.m., officers were called to the area and found a man who was shot inside a business. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said the man died at the scene.

Investigators immediately responded and the case is pending classification.

JSO said a person is in custody and they are cooperating. There are no outstanding suspects and it is an isolated incident.
