Terminus Capital Partners has made a majority investment in Eventus, a provider of trade surveillance and market risk solutions, positioning the company for accelerated geographic expansion and product growth. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Eventus delivers comprehensive, at-scale trade surveillance and financial risk solutions to exchanges, broker-dealers, trading firms and other market participants operating in an increasingly complex regulatory environment. Under majority ownership by Terminus Capital Partners, the company plans to increase investment in product innovation and platform capabilities, expand its global commercial and support footprint, pursue strategic initiatives including selective acquisitions, and further strengthen its infrastructure to address evolving regulatory and data demands. Eventus will maintain its brand, strategic focus, leadership team and customer-centric service model.
The company’s flagship Validus platform supports multi-asset class compliance and market risk requirements for global capital markets firms across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region. The platform provides integrated surveillance across equities, options, futures, FX, fixed income and digital assets within a unified ecosystem, offering customizable tools and procedures for compliance teams. Over the past seven years, Eventus has received nearly 50 global and regional awards for its platform and client service, most recently being named Market Surveillance Solution of the Year for Validus at the FOW International Awards 2026.
