MACEDON, N.Y. — The owner of a Macedon business has been sentenced to two years in prison for wire fraud involving more than $2.5 million.

Federal prosecutors said 51-year-old Clark Rittersbach of Florida, who pleaded guilty last year in U.S. District Court, was the owner of Concours Classic Motor Cars in Macedon.

Investigators said that between 2018 and 2022, Rittersbach repeatedly misled long-distance clients by claiming work was finished when it wasn’t, in order to collect payments upfront. In addition to his prison term, he was ordered to pay restitution to four victims.
