JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A popular Jackson restaurant that has been a mainstay along Highway 80 for more than 70 years will be shutting its doors for the last time next month.
On Wednesday, Anderson Crechale announced that Crechale’s Cafe’s last day of business would be February 15.

“Crechale’s has been a staple for the city of Jackson that has stood the tests of time for 70 years across multiple family generations. However, beginning February 16, the beloved restaurants… will be permanently closed,” he wrote.
“We are so grateful for all our employees and customers over the years, as well as all of the prayers and support we have received following Bob Crechale’s passing,” he added. “We look forward to continuing to serve you over the next six weeks.”
Bob Crechale passed away on Christmas Eve following an illness.
