Local business leader honored for decades of transportation service

The Weddington Road Interchange on Interstate 485 has been named in honor of local businessman Edward “Ned” Curran.

Curran has been a leader in the transportation community for decades.

Curran is now a member of the newly formed Transportation Authority.
