A Las Vegas business owner is hoping to rally the valley to help the victims of Hawaii’s devastating flooding.

Pipeline Malasadas owner Gayla Young is collecting donations this weekend to help island residents who have lost everything.

Young operates businesses in both Las Vegas and Honolulu and maintains a home on Oahu.

“This flooding was the worst I have ever seen,” she said in a statement.. “We want to make sure those who are impacted get the help they need. Our fundraiser will give 100% of donations directly to victims.”

All donations will go toward relief efforts, along with a portion of malasada sales from Saturday and Sunday, March 28 and 29. If you donate $5 or more, you can receive one free sugar malasada.

Pipeline Malasadas is located at 6945 S. Buffalo Dr., Unit 100, just south of the 215 Beltway.
