CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – A Conway business was evacuated Saturday morning after a confirmed gas leak.

Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched at 8:20 a.m. to a commercial building on the 2000 block of East Highway 501 in Conway to a gas leak.

When rescue crews arrived on scene, HCFR said they found a confirmed leak.

HCFR said crews would be securing the source while monitoring and ventilating the structure, while utility crews were en route to help.

There were no injuries reported, according to HCFR.

HCFR advised that the business will be temporarily evacuated for precautionary measures.
