GRADY COUNTY DEPUTIES, ALONG WITH CHICKASHA POLICE AND OHP, HAD THEIR HANDS FULL THIS MORNING. THEY STOPPED A ROBBERY AT A MARIJUANA BUSINESS NEAR HIGHWAY 81 AND COUNTY ROAD 1310. BUT THAT’S NOT WHERE THIS STOPS. IN FACT, LAW ENFORCEMENT SPREAD OUT TO TRY TO CATCH THE SUSPECTS. SOME ARE STILL AT LARGE TONIGHT. KOCO’S JASON BURGER TALKED TO THE SHERIFF. SKY 5 FLEW OVER THIS MARIJUANA BUSINESS WEDNESDAY MORNING. WHERE THE GRADY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS 10 TO 12 SUSPECTS WERE TRYING TO ROB THE FACILITY. THAT’S WHEN TWO PURSUITS STARTED. SO WE HAD TWO VEHICLES, WAS CHASING. CAME INTO CHICKASHA, WENT SOUTHBOUND ON 81 FROM 1310 INTO CHICKASHA. AND THAT’S WHEN ONE DRIVER MADE A DANGEROUS MOVE. ONE VEHICLE ENTERED I-44 THE WRONG DIRECTION. TRAVELING. WHAT IS CONSIDERED WESTBOUND AND EASTBOUND LANES. IT WENT TO ABOUT COUNTRY CLUB, WHERE IT CRASHED OUT IN A CONSTRUCTION ZONE. THE SHERIFF SAYS THE SUSPECTS IN THAT CAR WERE ALL FOUND AND ARRESTED, BUT A DIFFERENT VEHICLE WAS ALSO IN A PURSUIT AS AN OHP TROOPER CLOSED IN NEAR HIGHWAYS 39 AND 62. THEY DID A TBI. TO TRY TO GET THE VEHICLE TO STOP, WHICH IS VEHICLE CRASHED OUT. THREE OCCUPANTS EXITED THE VEHICLE, BUT IT’S BELIEVED THESE SUSPECTS ARE NOT LOCAL AND THEY’RE NOT EVEN OKLAHOMANS. THE SHERIFF SAYS THEY CAME UP FROM TEXAS GANG RELATED GROUP OUT OF DALLAS. THAT IS COMING UP TO OKLAHOMA AND ROBBING MARIJUANA GROWS. THERE’S BEEN SOME MARIJUANA GROVES, ROBBERIES IN LINCOLN COUNTY, STEVENS COUNTY, I BELIEVE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY ALSO. HOWEVER, THERE ARE STILL OTHER SUSPECTS ON THE LOOSE THAT MAY NOT BE IN OKLAHOMA ANYMORE. TWO OTHER VEHICLES LEFT THE SAME MARIJUANA BUSINESS AND GOT AWAY. WE’RE PRETTY SURE THOSE VEHICLES WENT BACK TO DALLAS, WHICH DALLAS COUNTY AND DALLAS P.D. ARE AWARE OF, AND SO THEY’RE GOING TO BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THEM TO. Grady County deputies, Chickasha police, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol stopped a robbery at a marijuana business, leading to a pursuit and arrests, while some suspects remain at large.
