Greenville Police are investigating an overnight shooting that sent four people to the hospital after gunfire erupted outside a South Memorial Drive business early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to Area 22 Hookah, located at 3016 South Memorial Drive, shortly after 1:18 a.m. on December 14, 2025, following reports of shots fired. When they arrived, officers found four victims, ages 22 to 34, suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
All four were taken to ECU Health Medical Center for treatment, and police say their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
According to Greenville Police, a physical altercation in the parking lot escalated into the shooting. No additional injuries were reported at the scene.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance video from nearby businesses and are working to identify and interview witnesses.
