The owner of a now-shuttered cellphone repair business pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Tallahassee to charges involving the sexual exploitation of underage girls.
Perry Crane Walker II, 44, pleaded guilty Feb. 19 to six counts of sexual exploitation of a child and one count each of receipt of child pornography and the transfer of obscene materials to minors.
According to court records, Walker communicated with girls between the ages of 13 and 15 on his Discord account and enticed them to send videos of themselves performing sex acts and cutting themselves.
U.S. Attorney John P. Heekin, who announced the arrest in a Feb. 26 news release, said his office will aggressively prosecute and seek the maximum punishment against defendants who prey on children.
“It remains a top priority of my office to ensure our kids are safe in our communities and online,” he said.
Walker was arrested Oct. 10, 2025, by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) unit working with the Tallahassee Police Department. The case was investigated by LCSO and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
Officers executed a search warrant at his business, Modern Communications, Inc., on Thomasville Road, and his home, seizing his cellphones and other devices.
“The investigation determined that Walker knowingly solicited explicit images from the juvenile victims, sent obscene material to them and paid them for the images,” the Sheriff’s Office said at the time.
Walker faces a minimum mandatory sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum sentence of 30 years on the sexual exploitation counts. He is scheduled to be sentenced May 11 by Chief U.S. District Judge Allen Winsor.
