Industry isn’t going out of business anytime soon. Following last season’s open-ended finale, the finance thriller was renewed for a fourth season—and we’re finally getting a first look into what to expect.
The hit HBO series, written and executive produced by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, left off on a cliffhanger. The offices of the investment bank Pierpoint & Co. have come crashing down, but there’s a splashy headquarters in town slated to become the new home base. Viewers will finally get an update on the whereabouts of Pierpoint’s graduate cohorts, but just as we thought things couldn’t get messier, a new slate of fresh faces will usher even more dramatic storylines into the madness.
While we wait for the premiere, here’s everything we know (so far) about the fourth season of Industry, including release dates, an updated roster of characters, and major plot points.
When will season 4 of Industry drop?
Season 4 of Industry will have eight episodes and is set to premiere on January 11, 2026. Episodes will be available for streaming on HBO and HBO Max, dropping weekly on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
What will season 4 of Industry be about?
We’re in for a season like no other. Creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay hinted to Elle that the fourth installment of Industry will be the most “compulsively watchable” season yet. According to an official press release, Pierpoint alum Harper (Myha’la) and Yasmin (Marisa Abela) are in for the ultimate game of cat and mouse when a new “splashy fintech darling,” a payment-processing company called Tender, bursts onto the London finance scene. Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington), while Harper falls into the orbit of London’s latest power player, Tender’s enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella). In the midst of the chaos, Harper and Yasmin’s twisted friendship begins to warp under high stakes and “the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top.”
Who will join season four of Industry?
Season 4 of Industry reunites actors Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Kit Harington, Ken Leung (Eric Tao), Sagar Radia (Rishi Ramdani), Miriam Petche (Sweetpea Golightly), and more.
But a new season calls for new faces. Among the list of newcomers are Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella), the ambitious CFO and founder of Tender; Hayley Clay (Kiernan Shipka), Tender’s wild-card executive assistant; Jim Dyker (Charlie Heaton), a financial journalist seeking social redemption; Kwabena Bannerman (Toheeb Jimoh), a trader at Mostyn Asset Management; Jennifer “Jenni” Bevan (Amy James-Kelly), the minister in the Labour government; and Jay Jonah Atterbury (Kal Penn), cofounder of Tender—but a frat boy by nature.
