Typically, we’re pretty busy before and after the games.”Jillian Beaver from Lucky Gold shared that events are generally beneficial for her business, as it brings customers looking to commemorate the occasion with jewelry. “I just make sure that we have more staff ready here and more inventory and we do longer hours typically,” she said.Beyond the business opportunities, the influx of visitors brings a chance to meet new people.”All walks of life are here. Just everyone comes to DOCO, so there’s lots of diversity and interesting stories,” Beaver said. “You see and meet a lot of different people and I think that’s my favorite part,” Forgac said. After this week, the next busy stretch at Golden 1 Center begins March 27, with the March Madness women’s basketball tournament coming to town.See more coverage of top California stories here | Download our app | Subscribe to our morning newsletter | Find us on YouTube here and subscribe to our channel
