New video shows a ‘crash-and-grab’ theft on the West Side, Chicago police said.
CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police released new video of recent crash-and-grab burglaries targeting retail businesses on the city’s Northwest and West Sides.
The new video shows as the suspect crash their vehicle into the stolen business to get inside.

They then take items like clothing and shoes before driving away in another stolen vehicle, which appears to be a van.
The thieves have hit at least two businesses in Garfield Park and Humboldt Park. Police said the burglaries happened at the following times and locations:
- 4000-block of West Madison Street on Nov. 9 at 4:48 a.m.
- 800-block of North Kedzie Avenue on Nov. 10 at 4 a.m.
The suspects are described as males around 15-19 years old who weigh about 110-150 lbs. They wear all black with black masks.
