Chemical spill at Auburn cannabis business under investigation

AUBURN, Maine (WGME) — A building in Auburn is safe again after a chemical spill.

According to Auburn Police, crews were called to 30 Riverside Drive Thursday morning for reports of criminal mischief at the Cure Cannabis Company.

When they arrived, they encountered a chemical spill, leading to an evacuation of the building.

Hazmat crews were called in and the building was deemed safe on Thursday night.

The crews that found the original spill were checked and cleared by EMS.
