A man was sent to the hospital after they crashed into a building in a shopping plaza in Plymouth on Monday.
It happened in the IGA Plaza on Main Street in the Terryville section of Plymouth around 11:15 a.m.
Responding officers found a 2008 Ford Escape that had driven through the front entrance of Advanced Physical Therapy.
Workers inside the building were able to safely evacuate and no one was hurt, according to police.
The driver, from Thomaston, was operating his vehicle with a suspended driver’s license, authorities said.
He was cited and transported to the hospital for evaluation. The building inspector’s office is investigating.
