Freedom Investment Management Group’s Dave Close, Margo Dowd and Rob Maring hand out pies to clients at their Wednesday event.
Freedom Investment Management Group continued their Thanksgiving tradition of distributing pies to clients on Wednesday.
For roughly a decade, the firm has been offering free pies to clients as a gesture of appreciation. It also allows them the opportunity to support a fellow local business.
The selection included three options of apple, pumpkin and graham cracker all from The Plaza Restaurant. FIMG Managing Director Rob Maring emphasized that this partnership is intentional and adds another layer of meaning to the tradition. “It’s a local business
supporting a local business,” he said.
FIMG gave away more than 190 pies between their Warren and Erie locations. Some Erie clients even drove to the Warren area specifically for a Plaza pie. For clients unable to attend in person, the firm arranged shipping to make sure all were able to take part in the celebration.
The pies are something FIMG’s clients look forward to every year.
“Clients really appreciate it,” said wealth advisor Margo Dowd. “It’s something they come to expect.”
Besides the pies, the event allows clients and staff to connect in a relaxed and informal setting.
As Thanksgiving and the Christmas season begin, the annual giveaway is a way to bring together the FIMG community.
