A local business has acquired a 14,000-square-foot commercial building in Hackettstown for $1.45 million, according to a broker with Sheldon Gross Realty.
The buyer, which was undisclosed, will use part of the warehouse space at 289 Main St. for his distribution and online vehicle sales businesses, the brokerage firm said in a news release. He’ll do so alongside several in-place tenants at the 1.5-acre property, including a mechanics shop, a dance studio and a church.
Sheldon Gross Realty Vice President Eric Weston represented the buyer, touting Hackettstown’s proximity to Interstate 80 and key anchors such as a university, a medical center and a major corporate headquarters.
“This property was a unique opportunity,” Weston said. “In addition to offering the sizeable warehouse space my client needed, it provided multiple current tenants — and all right in the middle of town.”
