Community behavioral health agency Clinical & Support Options in Northampton received double honors recently.

It was honored by the trade advocacy group Association of Behavioral Health. CSO will receive the Excellence in Outcomes Award for its work “driving a bold and sustained commitment to integrating, supporting, and evolving evidence-based practices throughout all programs and service lines.”

CSO engaged third-party HR technology firm Energage to conduct employee surveys on a variety of topics.

The results earned the Energage designation of “Top Workplace in Healthcare.”

The Healey-Driscoll administration announced $6.34 million in grants to 65 tourism and cultural development projects through the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism’s Destination Development Capital Grant Program.

Area recipients included:

— Westfield: Amelia Park Children’s Museum, $100,000 — outdoor learning environment, infrastructure update project.

— Amherst: Amherst Business Improvement District, $30,000 — performance shell on the Amherst Town Common.

Greenfield: Franklin County Agriculture Society, $78,000 – ADA Walkway Preservation Project.

— Northampton: Greater Northampton Chamber of Commerce, $38,000 – Visitor Center Renovation.

— Heath: Heath Agricultural Society, $25,000 — Heath Fair Silo Reconstruction and Pulling Pit, bleachers/disability access.

— Deerfield: Historic Deerfield, $58,000 — Investing in Visitor Experience, signage and wayfinding enhancements.

— Charlemont: Piti Theatre Company, $115,000 — Art & Ecology Center Expansion.

— Springfield: Springfield Museums, $90,000 — Elijah Blake House Preservation Project.

— Amherst: The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, $190,000 — Modernizing audio-visual systems;

— Belchertown: Town of Belchertown, $6,000 — Lake Wallace/Foley Field kiosk and wayfinding signage.

Westfield Bank announced a $5,000 donation to Revitalize CDC, a Springfield-based nonprofit.

Founded in 1992, Revitalize CDC has served more than 30,000 individuals and invested over $52 million into home repairs, bridging food insecurity gaps through delivery of fresh foods, and providing education and support for chronic health conditions.

We Do Travel Right and Disney hosted HCS Head Start students and families for a private holiday screening of Disney’s new film, “Zootopia 2″ before its official release at MGM Springfield in December.

HCS (Holyoke, Chicopee, Springfield) Head Start is a multi-service agency, providing programs, services and support to communities, families and children.

Connecticut Children’s in Hartford received a $1 million gift from Big Y to support the hospital’s new eight-story clinical tower, which opened on Dec. 4. The lobby’s visual centerpiece, a 30-foot-tall, illuminated tree, was named the Big Y Tree of Life.

The tower is connected to the existing medical center in Hartford and will include an expanded neonatal intensive care unit, an advanced cellular and gene therapy unit, an acuity adaptable unit and a fetal care center.
