Josh Oshinsky joins Business Insider as Vice President of Creative Strategy on the Global Marketing and Sales team. In his role, Oshinsky will bring together the newsroom, live events, video, and creative teams to develop strong, unified ideas and packages for Business Insider’s partners.

With 20 years of experience as a creative strategist and storyteller, Oshinsky’s expertise is at the intersection of media and brand purpose. Most recently, Oshinsky was a senior creative leader at PepsiCo where he led global content and digital, bringing deep experience working with publishers, brand storytelling and marketing strategy across video, social, audio, and written platforms.

Prior to PepsiCo, Oshinsky led video strategy at Sports Illustrated where he grew annual views from 400 million to 2 billion. He also launched SI Studios, a hub for original series and documentaries, and SI TV, Time Inc.’s first subscription video-on-demand platform. As a producer and director, Josh created films and series that have appeared across all major streaming services and broadcast outlets from Netflix to HBO. His work has earned 14 Emmys, multiple Webbys, Tellys, and Anthems, and has been showcased from Cannes to Sundance.
Oshinsky will report to Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Studios, Hannah Diddams.
