Andy Sonnenberg joins Business Insider as vice president of ad tech, focused on advertising strategy and revenue growth across Business Insider’s largest technology, platforms, cloud, data, and connectivity partners.
In this role, Sonnenberg will work closely with senior clients and agencies to develop integrated programs that bring together brand storytelling, performance, and innovation. He will also focus on deepening relationships with some of the world’s most advanced technology advertisers, while partnering with marketers as artificial intelligence continues to reshape media buying behavior and expectations.

Sonnenberg brings more than 20 years of senior media and advertising sales leadership experience to the role. Most recently, he served as U.S. Head of Industry for business, technology, and telecommunications at Condé Nast, where he led category strategy and revenue growth across a portfolio of premium brands, including WIRED, GQ, Golf Digest, and Pitchfork. He has also held leadership roles at WIRED and Ars Technica, building deep expertise across technology, media, and publishing. Sonnenberg holds a BA in Communications and Business from the University of Michigan.
