SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WVLT) – A business in Sevier County has had its beer permit reinstated after it was revoked earlier this year.
Back in March, the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office said the permit was revoked at Jimmy’s Market #12, located at 12221 Chapman Highway in Seymour, after it was cited for selling alcohol to underage customers last year.

On Tuesday, the Gratz Law Firm announced the business’s beer permit had been reinstated effective immediately.
“We are extremely appreciative of the Court’s thorough and fair review of the facts in this matter,” said David Gratz, who served as an attorney for the business. “This decision allows a dedicated local business to continue operating without interruption.”
The business, formerly known as Floyd’s Market, is now allowed to serve its community without restrictions, according to Gratz.
