COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A robber remains on the run after holding up a store on the southwest side of Colorado Springs overnight.
The armed robbery was reported at an unnamed business on Cheyenne Meadows Road, just east of Highway 115. Police were told by the cashier that a man walked into the store at 3:15 a.m. Sunday, confronted the employee with his gun, then helped himself to cash. The suspect ran from the scene before police arrived. The employee was uninjured.
“Officers searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate the suspect,” a CSPD lieutenant said.
At the time of this writing, no suspect description has been released.
