UXBRIDGE − A 450,000-square-foot warehouse in Campanelli Business Park will be home to Amazon.
The online retailer has signed a lease with the owner of the large building, constructed in 2023, according to Traded, a company reporting commercial real estate deals.
The warehouse is part of the 2 million-square-foot industrial park, which includes medical supply company Medline and cannabis company Cresco.
“We’re always exploring opportunities to enhance the customer experience through investment in communities across the U.S.,” said Mike Murphy, a spokesperson for Amazon, in a statement. “In terms of Uxbridge, we’ll share more as plans progress and we have something confirmed to announce.”
The Amazon deal was first reported by the Worcester Business Journal.
This location would add to a list of Amazon warehouses in Central Massachusetts, which include a sorting center in Uxbridge, not far from Campanelli Business Park.
A 121,000-square-foot facility opened in 2024 on the former grounds of the Greendale Mall in Worcester in addition to the 177,000-square-foot distribution center at 125 Goddard Memorial Drive near Worcester Regional Airport, which has been active since early 2021.
Also in 2024, Amazon opened a 2.8 million-square-foot distribution center in Charlton.
There are Amazon warehouses in Westborough and Bellingham.
The locations are some of the nine fulfillment and sortation centers in Massachusetts, as well as 16 delivery stations, Murphy said.
