In 2025, Alfa Romeo recorded global growth of 20.1%, exceeding 73,000 units sold worldwide. This result confirms the solidity of the pathway embarked on and the brand’s capacity for growth by always focusing every product and positioning decision on customers and drivers. Over 80% of total sales are concentrated in Europe, the leading region for Alfa Romeo, followed by North America, Middle East & Africa, and Asia.
In Europe, growth is in double digits, with a 31.1% increase in units sold compared to 2024. Performance in the main markets was particularly significant: in the United Kingdom, sales grew by 80.1%, in France by 41.9%, in Italy by 20.7%, in Germany by 20.5%, and in Spain by 15.1%. In Italy, Alfa Romeo stands out as the premium brand with the greatest growth in terms of market share, with an increase of 0.4 percentage points year-on-year.
In the Middle East & Africa region, growth stood at 16.3%. In Morocco, Alfa Romeo is the second fastest growing brand in the premium market, with a 65% increase in registrations, while in Turkey it recorded an uptick of 38.7%. In Asia, progression is even more marked, with +43.8% compared to 2024; Japan recorded +71.4% and during the year the brand was relaunched in Taiwan and Malaysia, further strengthening its presence in the region.
The leading light in this growth is Junior, now sold in 41 markets and having exceeded 60,000 orders since launch, 17% of which in the BEV version. The model has won over the press, public opinion and above all new customers, speaking the language of a new generation of Alfisti fans and confirming that the brand is moving in the right direction.
In Europe, the compact sports car ranks third in the premium B-SUV segment, taking the lead in Italy, France, Austria, Greece, and Slovakia. It is also on the podium in ten countries: second in Poland, Romania and Slovenia; third in Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, Norway, Croatia, and Lithuania. In addition, in Morocco it leads the premium B-SUVs with a 33% share, reaching a market share of 20% in the segment in Turkey and second among premium BEV B-SUVs. In the French overseas territories – La Réunion, Martinique and Guadeloupe – the launch of Junior contributed to an increase of one percentage point in market share compared to 2024. In Japan, after its debut in June for the brand’s 115th anniversary, Junior entered the top five for the premium B-SUV segment in just six months, confirming itself as a success for the India-Asia Pacific area.
In 2025, the Tonale was confirmed as the second model in terms of global volumes and is preparing to experience its first full year in the new line-up configuration in 2026: it will be Alfa Romeo’s key asset to further consolidate its presence in the premium C-SUV segment.
The end of 2025 marked the debut of the New Tonale on the Italian market, paving the way for commercial launches in other European countries. Offered with Diesel, Ibrida and Q4 Ibrida Plug-In engines, the evolution of the brand’s first C-SUV – renewing its sporty character and the unmistakable charm of Italian design – will continue to debut in other Regions worldwide in 2026, to consolidate its global presence even further.
Giulia and Stelvio also did well and are due to remain in the spotlight through 2027. These two models epitomize Alfa Romeo’s values: timeless design and driving experience that serve as a benchmark in their respective segments. In addition, 63 exclusive Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Collezione models have been produced, as the new global limited edition made to celebrate one of the brand’s most famous symbols, which appeared for the first time on a production car in 1963. The Quadrifoglio mix is significant, exceeding its highest level since launch, of 11%. From March 2026, the Quadrifoglio versions are also available to order again, in response to strong demand from enthusiasts and to confirm the central role of high-performance variants in the brand’s strategy. Also in 2025, 13% of Giulia and Stelvio units sold are represented by the Intensa special series, confirming the appreciation for more exclusive versions.
Alongside commercial growth, the 33 Stradale continues to embody the purest essence of the brand: a symbol of artisan excellence and future vision that strengthens the emotional bond with enthusiasts around the world.
