Air France is set to put into service new flights to Phuket and Punta Cana in November 2025. This is proof of the company making new long-haul assignments. New Routes to Thailand and the Dominican Republic
Beginning in November 2025, Air France will launch a new three-times-weekly service from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Phuket, Thailand. The seasonal route, operating until March 2026, will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, catering to the growing demand for leisure travel to Southeast Asia during the European winter months.
In addition, the airline will commence flights between Paris and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic starting 13 January 2026. This service will also operate three times weekly until 28 March 2026, using the same long-haul aircraft type, offering passengers another tropical getaway option in the Caribbean.
Increased Frequencies on Popular Long-Haul Routes
Air France is boosting its operations across several popular destinations, aligning with the continued rebound in international travel.
- North Carolina (Raleigh-Durham) and Cancún will see frequency increases from five to seven weekly flights, providing daily service for travellers.
- The recently launched Orlando route will continue into the winter season with five weekly flights.
- Rio de Janeiro will gain two additional flights, bringing the total to 12 per week, while San José will increase to 10 weekly services.
- The airline will also strengthen its South African and Asian networks with seven weekly flights to Cape Town and twice-daily services to Bangkok from Paris.
Expanding the Network and Operational Capacity
This expansion contributes to Air France’s broader winter schedule, which includes close to 800 daily flights to 170 destinations worldwide. The carrier’s long-haul capacity will rise by 3% compared to the previous winter season, reflecting continued investment in network growth and global connectivity.

Looking Ahead: New Las Vegas Route for Summer 2026
Beyond the winter season, Air France has confirmed the launch of a new service from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Las Vegas, scheduled to begin on 15 April 2026. The three-times-weekly flight will operate using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and mark Air France’s 19th destination in the United States. This addition reinforces the airline’s focus on North American expansion, connecting Europe with one of the most iconic leisure destinations in the U.S.
Premium Travel Experience: La Première Suite Rollout
Air France continues to enhance its premium cabin experience with the introduction of its next-generation La Première suites. The new first-class product will be available on flights from Paris to Miami starting December 2025, and from Paris to Tokyo Haneda by March 2026.
The exclusive cabin, designed to provide exceptional privacy and luxury, is already offered on select routes to New York (JFK), Singapore, and Los Angeles. The rollout signals Air France’s commitment to redefining luxury air travel with improved design, comfort, and service.
