Napier AI has named Adam Flowers as its new chief revenue officer (CRO) as the London-based RegTech looks to expand its global footprint in financial crime compliance.
Flowers has built a career spanning more than 15 years across multiple continents, with particular expertise in scaling SaaS businesses and developing go-to-market operations. He most recently held a senior role at Aptitude Software, where he oversaw the firm’s transformation into a global business. During his seven years in Singapore, he drove an 800% increase in the APAC region’s revenues.
At Napier AI, Flowers will be charged with all aspects of revenue growth, from marketing and partnerships to direct sales and customer expansion. His early priorities include refining the company’s go-to-market strategy and honing in on high-potential sectors such as banking, payments, and wealth and asset management. A major part of his remit will also involve building out partnerships into a scalable driver of revenue while ensuring the business retains a strong client-first culture.
Napier AI chief revenue officer Adam Flowers said, “I’m delighted to be joining Napier AI at such a pivotal point for the business. The pressures of regulatory change, the globalisation of financial systems and the sophistication of financial crime make this a defining moment in the industry. Napier AI’s client base, including tier-one institutions, demonstrates the strength of its platform and the trust it has earned.
“What particularly excites me is Napier AI’s ‘compliance-first AI’ approach, embedding explainable AI in everything we do in a way that delivers real value while avoiding the risks of unchecked automation. Napier AI is a mission driven business, and I am excited to help drive its growth while contributing to the fight against financial crime.”
Napier AI CEO Greg Watson said, “We are thrilled to welcome Adam to the leadership team. His track record of building high-performing global sales organisations and scaling revenue makes him the ideal person to lead our next phase of growth. Adam’s focus on execution, partnerships and customer value aligns perfectly with Napier AI’s ambitions to be recognised as the leader in financial crime compliance. His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to expand globally and cement our position at the forefront of the RegTech market.”
Flowers’s arrival follows the recent addition of James Brown as global head of partnerships. Brown, who previously worked with Dow Jones and Diligent, brings more than two decades of experience in building partnership networks. His focus at Napier AI will be on using partnerships to integrate artificial intelligence into compliance solutions, enabling financial institutions to better tackle the evolving challenges of financial crime.
