A search is underway for a woman wanted for questioning in the slaying of a 68-year-old man in Perry County.
Jeffery Holifield, the owner of Cahaba Woodworks in Helena, was found dead Wednesday at his home in the 2000 block of Onrow Tubbs Road in Marion.
Details surrounding the homicide have not been released.
State Bureau of Investigation officials on Friday announced investigators are searching for Anastassia “Anya” Cooper, 32, of Marion.
Cooper, said ALEA Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey, may be traveling with a mixed-breed dog named Banana.
Cooper has brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighs 216 pounds.
Anyone with information on Cooper’s whereabouts is asked to call SBI at 334-850-0910.
