We’re proud to honor Katie and Taylor, the incredible co-owners of Lucky Ones Coffee — a business built on inclusion, empowerment, and community.
Since opening their first shop in the Park City Library in 2018, Katie and Taylor have dedicated themselves to creating opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through their leadership and vision, Lucky Ones Coffee has become so much more than a café — it’s a place where everyone belongs, where potential is celebrated, and where every cup is served with purpose.
In March 2025, they expanded their impact by opening a second shop in the Salt Lake City Marmalade Library, continuing to grow their mission of meaningful employment and connection. Among their amazing team are two athletes from the Utah Royals FC Unified Team, showing what’s possible when community, inclusion, and teamwork come together.
Katie and Taylor — thank you for being champions of kindness, opportunity, and inclusion. You truly are the “lucky ones” for all of us in the community who get to share in your vision and your coffee.
