The Durham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death outside a business Sunday morning.
Deputies arrived to the 6100 block of Guess Road just after 8 a.m. to conduct a death investigation.
When deputies go to the scene, they found one person dead from apparent gunshot wounds. They were found outside of a business, but police did not say where.
Deputies are still on the scene gathering evidence as of the media release sent just before 11 a.m. They believe this is an isolated incident and there is not a threat to the public.
