Here are three ways to submit an anonymous tip to Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers and possibly get a cash reward.
- Two men were arrested in St. Lucie County, accused of stealing materials valued at around $10,000.
- The theft was reported Oct. 30 from The Porch Factory, a patio screening business in Fort Pierce.
- Authorities identified and arrested the two suspects within hours of the report.
ST. LUCIE COUNTY – Two men were arrested following an investigation into about $10,000 of materials reported stolen from a porch and patio screening business.
The two men from Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce were each charged with grand theft in connection to the missing inventory of The Porch Factory reported Oct. 30, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office.
Some of the items were recovered from the home of one of the two men and returned to the business, the agency stated in a social media post.
Within hours, detectives determined Ernesto Artiles-Tosco, 54, and Maykel Garcia-Izada, 46, were the suspects and the two were arrested overnight and placed in St. Lucie County Jail early Oct. 31, records show.
Artiles-Tosco was charged with grand theft of $5,000 or more but less than $10,000 and Garcia-Izada, who was said to be his accomplice, was charged with larceny grand theft $750 or more but less than $5,000.
