A person was hospitalized following an explosion at a business in Sonoma County on Wednesday, according to Northern Sonoma County Fire.
Fire crews said they responded to a Hazmat incident in which people hear an explosion at a business at 4001 Highway 128.
Officials said employees of the business were evacuated from the building and one person was transported to a hospital.
According to the fire department, the incident was due a cleaning supplies malfunction – the products used caused what sounded like an explosion.
A person was also reported to have minor injuries for skin irritation, the fire department reports.
Authorities add the cleaning company involved is a contracted company outside of the business involved.
