CAMPBELL, Mo. (KAIT) – An early morning fire left a local business destroyed, according to authorities.
The Campbell Fire Department announced in a social media post that at approximately 4:30 a.m., they were dispatched to a business fire at the corner of Elm Street and Grand Avenue.
The reporting party said there was a loud explosion followed by heavy smoke. No injuries were reported, but the business is ‘a total loss’.
Officials investigated, but the cause was deemed undetermined due to the extensive damage to the building.
