GREEN BAY (WLUK) — Firefighters are facing extreme weather putting out a fire at a Green Bay business.

Crews were called to Green Bay Converting at 2200 Larsen Road around 7:45 a.m. Monday.

Crews are working against the snow and wind from Blizzard Elsa.

When firefighters first arrived on scene, they reported heavy black smoke coming from the roof of one of the buildings.

Weather conditions are impacting the response, with high winds and equipment freezing on site. Multiple emergency crews from Brown County are assisting.

The fire is still active and generating a significant amount of smoke. Residents near the area are advised to shelter in place, as soot is being blown throughout the vicinity. If you see smoke in this area, do not call 911 to report it.
