Severe weather closes schools, businesses for March 12

MISSOULA, Mont. — Butte School District 1 schools will be closed for Thursday, Friday was a previously scheduled closure.

Butte Central High School will be closed on Thursday.

Blackfeet Community College posted the following: Due to anticipated severe winter weather conditions in Browning and the surrounding area, the campus will close at 4:30pm today for the remainder of the week. Thursday and Friday, employees and students are to pivot to remote work/learning. Please avoid travel unless necessary and use caution if you must be on the roads.
