After what was a chaotic weekend in Jalisco and other parts of Mexico, businesses in Rocky Point say they remain relatively unaffected even as customers call to make sure they are still safe to travel.
One business owner told ABC15 he’s had more than two dozen calls from customers, and he’s had to reassure.
“I’m good, but I’m in a chat with all the rest of the agents and brokers that rent, and I’ve heard a lot of people saying that they’ve had people cancel on them because of the news,” Brown said.
Brown is advising his clients that everything is safe in Rocky Point and all of Sonora, drawing a comparison to put the situation in perspective.
