WAYNESVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Waynesville is hosting its annual Chili Cook-Off Stroll on Saturday, Feb. 28.
Forty businesses and restaurants from Frog Level to Main are participating.
UNIQUE CANDLER FARM GROWS SOME OF THE WORLD’S SPICIEST CHILI PEPPERS
Attendees can taste each entry after buying a $10 wristband. They will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite chili.
Complimentary shuttles will be provided throughout the event to each participating area.
“The businesses go into their own pockets to make their own chili, so everybody’s got their own best recipe, their own favorite flavors. And so you just get to go business to business, pick which ones you want to try and good luck trying all 40,” said Waynesville chili cook-off marketing coordinator Tiffani Watts.
