HOUSTON, Oct. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Craig Group today announced the addition of Scott Hackett as Partner, strengthening the firm’s private-equity business development and deepening its operator-led go-to-market (GTM) capabilities for middle-market, PE-backed companies. In his role, Hackett will lead business development with sponsors and portfolio companies while delivering comprehensive GTM strategies and value-creation programs across Craig Group’s client portfolio.
Hackett brings extensive expertise across private equity partnerships, revenue operations, and commercial strategy. With a proven record of driving measurable growth for SaaS and recurring-revenue businesses, he is uniquely positioned to accelerate portfolio performance and unlock new revenue opportunities throughout the investment lifecycle.

Most recently, Hackett served as Principal in the Private Equity Practice at SBI Growth Advisory, where he advised leading PE firms on GTM strategy, commercial diligence, and value-creation initiatives. There, he led SBI’s Private Equity Help Desk, advising over 250 executives across 75+ portfolio companies, and completed more than 20 due diligence engagements that included financial modeling and strategic recommendations. His performance earned him SBI’s 2022 Full Potential Value Award.
Previously, Hackett held transformative revenue operations roles at high-growth companies, including Zappi, where he helped redesign the sales process and organizational structure, resulting in a 40%+ increase in annual bookings, and Forrester Research, where he managed the annual $400 million quota-setting process. He began his career in professional services with KPMG and BerryDunn, building a strong finance foundation.
