Westfield State University has announced new workforce development programs launching in March to address priority skill gaps across the Pioneer Valley and Western Massachusetts.
New offerings include a Supply Chain Warehousing Certificate Program, which builds foundational skills in warehousing, inventory management and distribution operations. The program complements the university’s existing Certified Supply Chain Professional Exam Preparation Program.
Additional spring offerings include Project Management Professional Exam Preparation, as well as the university’s long-standing SHRM Certification Prep+ Program, supporting human resources professionals navigating workforce planning, labor compliance, and talent retention challenges.

On Monday, Feb. 2, all Texas Roadhouse locations invite the public to a fundraiser to support the American Tinnitus Association. To honor the company’s late founder, Kent Taylor, the restaurants will donate 100% of all profits to the organization. Area locations include Springfield and Hadley.
While commonly referred to as “ringing in the ears,” tinnitus can manifest many perceptions of sound, including buzzing, hissing, whistling, swooshing and clicking. Tinnitus is the perception of sound when no actual external noise is present.
