Yutong Bus reported continued sales growth in 2025, alongside ongoing investment in low-carbon technologies and international markets.

The Chinese bus manufacturer delivered 49,518 vehicles during the year, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.54 percent.

The company states that its performance in 2025 reflected stable operations, sustained research and development activity, and closer cooperation with public transport operators in multiple regions.

During 2025, Yutong expanded its presence across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The company increased investment in overseas service infrastructure, including the establishment of direct service stations and regional spare-parts centres, aimed at improving vehicle availability and operational reliability.

Yutong also introduced its EnRoute+ service brand, which focuses on providing lifecycle support for operators, including maintenance, digital monitoring and scenario-based service solutions.

Yutong continued to allocate more than five percent of its operating revenue to research and development. In 2025, the company introduced its EV Long-life technology, designed to extend the service life of battery electric buses to up to 15 years or 1.5 million kilometres.

Meanwhile, the 2025 Busworld Europe exhibition in Belgium, Yutong’s T14E coach and U15 bus received industry awards in their respective categories.

The operational performance of Yutong vehicles was demonstrated in several international markets. In the Philippines, the C12Pro model recorded a reported 12 percent reduction in fuel consumption per 100 kilometres compared with the previous generation. In Europe, the IC12E battery electric intercity bus completed 1,200 kilometres of testing across four Nordic countries. In Ghana, the V6 van recorded combined fuel consumption of 9.2 litres per 100 kilometres, while in Kazakhstan C12Pro vehicles have reached operating mileages of up to 2 million kilometres.

Yutong continued to supply vehicles to public transport projects worldwide. Cumulative deliveries in Central Asia exceeded 10,000 units. In 2025, the company delivered 400 electric buses to Pakistan, 372 to Chile and 100 to Greece. In the fourth quarter, 723 buses were delivered in Morocco to support transport services for an international sports event.

The company stated that it continues to promote localisation through local employment and partnerships in host countries.

Environmental initiatives during the year included further expansion of the company’s “Net Zero Forest” programme. Approximately 47,000 trees were planted across China, Chile, the United Kingdom and Mexico as part of Yutong’s “One Bus, One Tree” commitment.

Yutong also carried out community engagement activities, including the “Let’s Go Green” campaign to promote public transport use in countries such as Greece, and school bus safety education programmes in Kazakhstan.

Looking ahead to 2026, Yutong said it plans to continue working with international partners to support the development of sustainable public transport systems and broader access to mobility services.
