SAN ANTONIO – Businesses and services across San Antonio have been adjusting their hours as the winter weather situation develops.
H-E-B ADJUSTS STORE HOURS
H-E-B has updated store hours across parts of Texas due to severe winter weather, with some adjustments impacting the San Antonio metro area.
All San Antonio–area H-E-B stores, including locations in Cibolo, Floresville, Schertz, Pleasanton, Fair Oaks, Leon Springs, and Lytle, will close at 9 p.m. Saturday, January 24, and reopen Sunday at 9 a.m., operating until 11 p.m. Sunday.
MONSTER JAM POSTPONED
The Monster Jam shows originally set for Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25 will now take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 3 p.m. at the Alamodome.
All tickets purchased for the original January dates will be automatically honored for the rescheduled events, with fans retaining their original seat locations.
BILL MILLER BBQ
Due to the inclement weather, Bill Miller BBQ will be closing at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, and reopening at 8 a.m. on Jan. 25.
BRISCOE WESTERN ART MUSEUM
Due to weather conditions and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of guests, staff and volunteers, the Briscoe Western Art Museum will be closed on Sunday, January 25.
SAN ANTONIO ZOO
Due to anticipated inclement weather, San Antonio Zoo will be closed Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 24–25.
CITY OF SAN ANTONIO
Due to the ongoing cold weather event, the City of San Antonio will close some public facilities and scale back most non-essential operations on Sunday, January 25, and Monday, January 26, 2026.
Critical services will remain fully operational to ensure residents continue receiving essential support. These services include:
- Police and Fire
- Public Works
- Animal Care Services Enforcement
- 311
- San Antonio International Airport
- City Homeless Outreach Teams
METHODIST HEALTHCARE MINISTRIES
Due to expected inclement weather, all San Antonio area Methodist Healthcare Ministries facilities will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. Patients with existing appointments for Monday will be rescheduled. This includes:
- Wesley Health & Wellness Center;
- Dixon Health & Wellness Center;
- George Ricks School Based Health Center at Schertz Elementary,
- Wesley Nurse sites, Northwest Center Office, and the Corporate Office.
SAN ANTONIO MUSEUM OF ART
The Museum closed early at 3:00 p.m. today, January 24, due to inclement weather and will remain closed all day on Sunday, January 25. They will resume our normal hours on Tuesday, January 27.
