Springville, Utah — October 3, 2025
Springville, Utah-based Tyfoom, an employee engagement and microlearning platform, has named Steve Davis as Executive Vice President. Davis will oversee growth initiatives and customer success at a time when the company is accelerating innovation and adoption across industries where safety, compliance, and culture are mission-critical.
Tyfoom’s platform is designed to improve training and communication by delivering short, mobile-first video modules. Already available in 15 languages, including Spanish, the company reports millions of completed trainings with a 96% retention rate. Daily engagement averages 72% across its customer base, and monthly engagement reaches 92%—figures that outperform most major social media platforms, according to the company.
“Our customers need to know that critical messages are received and understood, not just distributed,” Davis said, drawing on his 15 years of experience working with FedEx. “When you absolutely, positively have to know the message was received, you use Tyfoom.”
Veteran of High-Growth Teams
Davis brings to Tyfoom a career of scaling high-performing teams in both startups and Fortune 50 companies. He co-founded DataSpace Consulting in 2007, landing major clients such as DoubleClick (acquired by Google), FedEx, and Wells Fargo. That firm grew to more than 50 consultants before its acquisition by SolutionsIQ, where Davis became Chief Customer Officer. Less than two years later, SolutionsIQ was acquired by Accenture.

At Accenture, Davis led the global expansion of its business agility practice, growing it from 250 consultants to nearly 800, generating $1.4 billion in revenue. He and his wife relocated to Düsseldorf, Germany, where he oversaw European operations and worked with major clients including Deutsche Telekom, UBS, and FedEx’s global C-suite.
“What I learned in that period is that transformation efforts rarely fail because of a lack of frameworks or methodologies,” Davis said. “They fail because teams aren’t connected, aligned, and energized. When those elements are present, organizations thrive.”
A Personal Philosophy
That perspective took deeper root during Davis’ recovery from cancer while at Accenture. Daily walks during his convalescence gave him time to reflect on why four out of five major strategic initiatives fail—a failure rate that has remained stubbornly constant for decades. His conclusion: execution excellence depends on people, not processes.
“I came to believe that when employees are connected and engaged, companies unlock execution excellence, build change as a lasting capability, and accelerate results,” Davis said. “That’s why Tyfoom excites me: it gives organizations the tools to make that possible, every single day.”
About Steve Davis
Davis earned both a B.A. in Economics and an MBA from Brigham Young University. He and his family live in Mapleton, Utah, where they take full advantage of the outdoors and enjoy traveling together.
