CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Charleston and Dorchester counties have announced closures and service changes for the upcoming MLK Day holiday.
All City of Charleston offices and recreation facilities, including pools and tennis centers, will be closed on Monday, officials say.
The Municipal Golf Course will be open during normal hours.
The Town of Mount Pleasant offices will be closed on Monday.
Dorchester County offices, including administrative offices, courts, libraries and book drops, will be closed on Monday and reopen on Tuesday.
The City of Charleston and Town of Mount Pleasant trash collection will operate on a one-day late schedule:
- Monday route will be collected on Tuesday
- Tuesday routes will be collected on Wednesday
- Wednesday routes will be collected on Thursday
- Thursday routes will be collected on Friday
Trident Waste collection for Johns Island, Outer West Ashley, Daniel Island and Cainhoy will operate under normal schedule.
